Cult. Since 1973.
The Oskar roofer's shoe was first manufactured in 1973. For over five decades, this classic shoe with its outsole made from real car tyres has been as popular as ever with roofers.
Fit
The leather will give a little over time.
The practical two-buckle fastener can be individually adjusted to the foot and ensures a quick in and out.
The work shoe is rather narrow.
Outsole
Profile made from original car tires.
The special rubber compound of car tires gives the anti-slip outsoles their special grip.
The coarse tread design of car tires provides a larger contact surface for the outsole. In addition to good grip on the roof, this has the advantage that the sole does not press into soft materials such as fresh bitumen sheets and leave unwanted marks.
The profile of the outsole differs from shoe to shoe, depending on which car tire it was made from.
Insole
The soft, shock-absorbing insole is anatomically shaped and ensures a high level of walking comfort.
The breathable insole has good moisture regulation and thus ensures a pleasant foot climate.
The insole can be removed.
