Fit

The trousers are cut slightly wider at the thighs for better air circulation. This means that they won't restrict your movement, even with folding rules in the side pockets.

Perfect trouser length with a side seam of 50 cm for size 50.

The waistband is wider than normal pants, which ensures that the trousers fit well and stay where they belong even when you're moving. In addition, the waistband retains its shape and always fits as it did on the first day.

The slightly higher waistband at the back increases wearing comfort.

The flaps with hooks and eyelets behind the zips ensure that the trousers fit securely and prevent them from slipping when you move.

Large and super-large sizes

Large sizes up to 66 are also always in stock as standard. One price applies to all sizes!

66 is the largest standard size and has a waist circumference of 134 cm. If this is not enough, Bernd can be custom-made in a size up to a waist circumference of 160 cm.

Pockets

Folding rule pockets on the right and left. The classic, guild goods folding rule pockets sit in the middle of the side seam. This means they remain sideways even when kneeling

and do not slip backwards.

Wide rear pocket with button.

Front pockets on both sides of the trousers with wide, easily accessible pocket opening. The large pocket bags are made from a strong, durable pocket lining (310 g/m²).

The belt loops have the right spacing for the FHB Max and Moritz holster bags. 

Fabrication

The seat seam as a double-stitched fell seam and the crotch seams reinforced with the FHB-typical red tape improve tear resistance. The particularly robust seams significantly increase the service life of the trousers.

We also use a particularly tear-resistant thread with a cotton sheath and a polyester core.

2-fold sewn-on artificial leather corners protect the pocket corners from tearing even under high loads.

Pocket edges made of durable artificial leather reinforce the pocket opening and protect against premature wear.

The extra-wide YKK zippers with solid end pieces are particularly robust and durable.
